Recommendation

Between Inspector Gamache books, one series I like to read and recommend is the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith (pseudonym of JK Rowling). I just finished the 6th in the series, The Ink Black Heart, and I could not put it down. This is great crime fiction: strong female lead, not terribly violent, complex story structure that makes a person think. I will warn that all the novels are long – the latest is 1000 pages but worth every minute spent on it! I’ve just realized that I’ve missed one in the series so that means it’s not totally necessary to read them in order but I do recommend reading the first one to get to know the main characters. Enjoy!
