Recommendation
I recommend Ian Rankin’s Rebus series. They are fabulous! I’ve been reading the books for decades and have read the series at least three times. Rankin’s Rebus is a gritty, flawed, complex and intriguing character. He’s not a very likeable character, but he is immensely interesting. The books are very atmospheric and show the reality of life in Scotland.
