Libby Baker
Libby Baker:

The Sunflower House is the story of a young woman in Germany prior to  the beginning of WWII and after the war starts. It is a historical novel about the Nazi’s desire to create the perfect race and how they went about achieving that goal. It is a love story.  It is a story of survival, courage, loss, and protecting as many children as possible from brutal experimentation.

I found Adriana’s writing style to be engaging from the very beginning of the book.  Her characters were relatable drawing me into their lives immediately.

If you like historical novels I think you will find The Sunflower House worth your time.

  1. This sounds like an interesting read. It’s sometimes difficult to find WWII historical books with the right balance of fact and fiction, so not too grim but not to fantastical either. Thank you for the recommendation.
