I began reading “The Grey Wolf” on Wednesday. I needed someplace to go besides where I was, both literally and figuratively. Three Pines met the moment. I have also found the allegorical story of the grey wolf to resonate more than I anticipated. For those like me who are still reading “The Grey Wolf,” the story of the two wolves and our agency to decide which one to feed is familiar. I am also thinking this lesson applies to my choices about moving forward now and that choosing the grey wolf informs how clear headed and thoughtful, and ultimately, effective I can be. I doubt that LP was so prescient that she anticipated the events in the US when “The Grey Wolf” was in my hands but parts of it certainly are timely.

There is wisdom in your thoughts and words that I greatly appreciate. I agree that The Grey Wolf’s release is very timely. I had originally thought months ago that it was a mistake on LP and her publisher’s part to release it so close to the elections. But you have stated it so eloquently, how the two wolves story and its lessons can be applied to current events and how we can all personally move forward in a positive direction. I hope others who have been struggling these past days will find and read this post. I think there is great strength and support to be found and cherished in this wonderfully amazing group.

I agree with you both. Well said.
