Melanie Stansbury used to be my US House representative from NM. With redistricting, I found myself in HD 2 rather than HD 1. While I miss her effective and spirited representation, I am happy to now be part of a district that flipped to being a Democratic district and giving NM an entirely Democratic congressional delegation.

I’m envious, Jane. We used to be solidly Blue in this area, but are now entirely Red. Not one Democratic candidate won around here in the last election; it used to be the entire opposite, years ago. However, there were some close races, so that’s heartening. We’re not all comatose here. I have to believe that we will find our soul again.
