I see that the Louise Penny FB group has become private. Will that change how it has operates? Does one need to rejoin that group to be a member?

Hi Libby, we turned the FB group private to try to keep the scammers from stealing more content. It’s become apparent that they’ve been going through our old group posts and stealing content to fool new/other LP readers. We’re just trying to make it a little more difficult for them. We very much dislike scammers.
The FB group is paused once again and we have received quite a lot of messages today that reaffirm our decision not to return to FB to admin the LP group there. So there is no need to rejoin anything. We’ll keep this BCF site up and running as long as members have interest in using it to connect.

Thanks for your quick response. It’s so sad that nothing is sacred anymore. Once again I thank you for all your efforts, time, and patience. This group is far superior to any other I have belonged to and that’s due to you and your vigilance. There are so many wonderful people participating here and I am thankful we have this safe place to remain in contact with each other.
