      Black Bear Pictures, the team behind the Bletchley Park film The Imitation Game, will be adapting The Rose Code for TV. Who do you think should play the main parts?

      That’s so exciting! Initially I’d say Emily Blunt for Osla, but the women are all supposed to be very young, like 19-year-olds or in their early twenties. Not that Blunt wouldn’t convince me. I don’t know a lot of the younger up-and-coming actors of that age so I’d say cast unknowns. But if I were casting more age-appropriate actors who I do know, I’d maybe cast Florence Pugh or Emma Corrin as Beth (I think Corrin could play Mab too.) Millie Bobby Brown or Saiorse Ronan would be good as Olsa.

      Although I don’t have suggestions for actors to play these roles, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Book Club Friends, Tara Gee, and everyone who contributed to making this discussion of The Rose Code fun and stimulating this month.
