Louise Penny Book Club

A place to discuss mystery novels by Louise Penny and anything Three Pines related! We encourage open discussion of the characters, settings, plots and themes presented in Louise Penny’s books, which includes themes of violence (these are murder mysteries!), sexuality, abuse, corruption, politics, friendship, community, and countless others. Sometimes these themes remind us of real world events and perhaps evoke thoughtful discussion of these events. We can learn so much from one another and from books, which is what makes a thoughtful book club a good book club. If you’d rather not participate in the discussion of a particular issue, please feel free to ignore the post. However if you would like to engage, please remember this quote: “Is it true? Is it kind?
