Maple Pouding Chomeur

Yesterday our Christmas dinner dessert was inspired by our holiday in Quebec three months ago; Maple Pouding Chomeur! (Literal meaning; Poor man’s pudding!) We ate this in Quebec City at a wonderful authentic Quebecóis restaurant called “La Buche”. I served it with vanilla bean ice cream just as they did, and it was heavenly! This was my first time making it, but I assure you not my last! Thank you so much to the lovely member of this wonderful group who a few months ago shared their recipe for this sublime dessert!
