Erin Morgenstern is a writer and artist. She studied playwriting in college but does not have an MFA or any other formal writing training. Her novel The Night Circus began as a National Novel Writing Month project and went on to become a number-one bestseller and has been translated into thirty-seven languages. She lives in Massachusetts.
