Dog tax 🙂

Here’s my little pumpkin, very happy with himself after finding some tasty dirt to eat. He was served a healthy daily diet of juicy sous vide chicken breasts, perfectly steamed broccoli and carrots, and carefully dehydrated chicken breast for treats, but dirt was the prize for this stinker. And he could have as much of it as he wanted, of course. He crossed over the Rainbow Bridge a couple of years ago, but he lives forever in my heart.

I bought a running stroller for him to give him the option for rests on our walks and he enjoyed it as it allowed him to ride where he once ran, but could no longer walk. And on one of our walks, I caught him doing this … such a funny little guy. (Please let me know if you cannot watch this video – I’m trying to show it without having to put it on YouTube.)

  1. Loved the video. He certainly was letting you know how much he appreciated your making it possible for him to be outside in the fresh air with you. I know you miss him dearly but also know he left you with so many warm memories to fill the void he’s left behind. Dog tax well paid.

  2. Adorable face and video. I know that you have many wonderful memories. It brought tears to my eyes and reminded of a toy poodle that I had years ago and how I would have to pick her up and put her on the bed or chair by me when she could no longer jump up.

  3. Oh, what a sweet, sweet face– and such love and enjoyment coming through! I am sorry for your loss; I know how painful it can be to lose these precious friends. But it’s obvious that you were a wonderful dog mom, and I’m sure this little guy was happy every day of his life with you to love him.
