To all my Canadian friends— you were on my mind today! This is the sign I carried to our (fairly) local Hands Off protest. And got several positive comments about it, too. You are not forgotten or dismissed!

  1. Love your sign, Susan! Thank you for thinking of us and our friends in Greenland. I’ve seen some of the photos and videos from today’s protest all over the States and I am so pleased to see so many strong Americans standing up for what’s right. With Susan Crawford’s win in Wisconsin and today’s showing, I am feeling very hopeful for the US right now.

    1. Thanks, Tara — it DID go well. We had an estimated 400 people, and a lot of support from passing cars. And everything went peacefully. That’s saying a lot for the area I live in (small-town OH), where they didn’t vote even ONE Democrat into office this past election. Met all sorts of good people, some who have never protested before in their lives, but who felt the need to try to make a statement. It was so refreshing! It’s good to have hope….
