It’s quite telling that the US used the threat of pulling out of NATO should social media get regulated. I should hope that current events are the wake up call that citizens need to recognize the issue with certain platforms. I admit not thinking that much of it way back when Twitter was sold – I think I passed it off as an ego issue – but now I do realize just how important that purchase was.
