You nailed it Libby! These are hairs but on the abdomen of a wolf spider! Definitely creepy crawly, Susan!!
OK– I must confess that this was puzzling me so much that I Google Scanned it — and now I get the joke! Gives me a rather creepy crawly feeling, though!
